Before you book
I rent. Will my landlord have a problem with this?
This is exactly what our method is designed for. Your existing pane is never cut — it’s removed intact, packaged and stored, and can be reinstalled when you move out. The apartment goes back to its original state.
Why does it take 2–3 weeks?
Because the glass is made specifically for your door. After the on-site measurement we manufacture an insulated safety glass unit with a waterjet-cut opening sized to your cat door. That’s a production process, not something off a shelf.
Is the new glass as good as the old one?
The same or better. We match the thermal and acoustic specification of the pane we replace, and we use safety glass throughout.
Are there any additional costs?
No. Measurement, travel, manufacturing, removal of the old glass, protective packaging, installation and labour are all in the quoted price. The only extra is the cat door you choose, and it’s shown separately in the calculator.
Do you work in my canton?
We install throughout Switzerland, and travel is included in the price no matter where you are.
Can you fit a cat door I already own?
Yes. Select “I already have my own cat door” in the calculator. We cut the opening to fit your model exactly, at no extra charge for the door.
